Goals & Objectives of a Development Organization:
The following is a summary of the organization's purposes.

The support and development of the rural economy and specifically the strengthening of investments and the support of entrepreneurship, the development of rural tourism and small and medium-sized enterprises and consequently the support and utilization of locally produced products and the strengthening of the effort to transform them into branded quality products, as well as the connection of locally produced product and tourist service.
The investigation, study and coordination of processes and mechanisms for the production, transfer and provision of know-how, services and support to institutions and businesses of the local government, the public and the private sector in development issues of financing infrastructure projects, urban regeneration, social actions and the utilization of municipal property as well as for the utilization and implementation of national, European and international funded programs for local, regional, national and European purposes.
The design, implementation, implementation, evaluation and monitoring of national, European or international funded programs related to the purposes of the statute.
The creation of conditions for the symmetrical development of its members from an economic, social and cultural point of view, based on local forces and private and public resources, as well as with resources and means of the European Union and the Greek State.

Achieving the goals of the Development Agency
In order to fulfill the above purposes, the organization, in addition to utilizing the logistical and executive infrastructure, experience and knowledge of the contracted members, may collaborate with other agencies or participate in other companies, which pursue the same or similar these purposes.
Is involved in other businesses
It is allowed to participate in other businesses to promote the development purposes of the Municipalities-shareholders. The decision is taken by an absolute majority of the present members of the relevant Municipal Councils.
It implements initiatives and actions of a developmental and broader social nature
with a view to upgrading the quality of life, strengthening the economic, social, touristic, scientific, cultural and generally sustainable development of the wider region of the participating municipalities, promoting sustainable business investments, protecting the environment, preserving and creating jobs for benefit of the Municipalities - shareholders, the citizens as well as their employees or visitors or other users of the premises and facilities within the territorial area of responsibility.
